  iCare Elder Services is the most outstanding home care agency in the whole of north east Pennsylvania. I gotta say, my family have used other agencies before but to their lack of commitment, we had to switch to icare elder services. Their caregivers are outstanding when it comes to helping my mother. The owners are so down to earth. They show up for you every time you needed some, They even help make sure you receive the services they promise you.   I worked for this company.. I brought in girls to this company.. I worked doubles I did covers on top on my shift because they never could keep employees .. the client I was housed with started to say racist things .. told me I was a bad mother .. I requested to be put in a different home .. I was told to stick it through. Tamra would find a new house or put me elsewhere .. I'd say 2 months later I'm still in the home .. the client made me cry because she told me I was a bad mother .. I'm a bad mom because she wanted companionship.becaise her daughter didn't really want to be around her .. only to tell her she's wasting her money and if she kept paying us girls she won't have any money at all .. once I felt the words become more and more of a pattern. I reached out again to Tamra and still nothing. She hardly answered her texts but made sure you answer her when she needs you ... But I ended up just calling out because I started to give my hours to another girl that Tamra stated there was no hours .. so I'm having issues I will allow to give up.some hours .. Tamra stated no .. I worked multiple times over 100 hours in a pay period and Tamra stated that it's my job and there was no other girls nor houses ... But there clearly was girls that just needed to be switched around ... I called of ..y son was sick ... I got sick .. then I wasn't allowed to call off for that .. I got my client sick and tra told me if I knew I was sick I should have put on a mask .. not really caring for the clients health ... They went through so many girls .. I had a couple times where there was a differential pay for different types of shifts and they never implemented it in the paycheck. It was always. Oh my bad. My husband did payroll and then ended up sending it to me via venmo. When hired they never did proper protocols.. I never was sent to get a TB test .. I didn't sign papers . But because I called out of the house I requested to be out of they cowardly fired me ... I can go on .. I only stayed because they paid over 16$ but it's not worth the headache you have to deal with ... No hours no houses ...
