  I cannot find the right words to say how incredible H.L. Snyder is, and specifically Lisa. My father passed recently, and they have been so extremely helpful, professional, warm, and caring in this difficult process. Lisa has gone so much above and beyond to help me in this process, I cannot express my gratitude to her for all that she has done. I would recommend H.L. Snyder to anyone and everyone who has to navigate this difficult time in your life as they are guaranteed to shepherd you through it.

  We used H L Snyder Funeral Home after the deaths of my mother in 2021 and my father in May 2025. Both times my family was treated as if the staff lost one of their own. Their kindness, compassion and professionalism is second to none. Director Lisa Harner made the arrangements effortless in our grief. We were warmly welcomed into their home and Lisa was quick to respond to questions and communicate plans via cellphone. I highly recommend the services that H L Snyder provides.

  This small family owned funeral home in Pine Grove is one of the most affordable and caring funeral homes in the area. I highly recommend using their services if you would like great communication, attention to detail, and a caring staff that will go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. The owners are the sweetest people and are pillars of the community and help shape Pine Grove into the town it is today.
