  I visited Traditions of Hershey last Saturday. It was very clean and the staff couldn't have been nicer! As I walked in the lobby, men were playing "Keep the Balloon Up" with the pool noodles. They were all having a great time. I also saw so many activities for the residents to do, book club, van trip outings, happy hour, etc. I volunteered to go to the Troeg's "Ride the Waves of Inclusion" Down Syndrome Celebration. Three residents attended and we all had a great time! The staff treated the residents like family! My heart is full! I would love to be a resident there when the time is right!

  My parents moved into Traditions about 2 years ago and quickly felt at home. When my father passed away earlier this year, it was such a blessing to know that my mother was in a safe and secure environment with caring and thoughtful staff.

  The last place my sister lived in was assisted living. Traditions is more retirement community-like and less like a family. Most people keep to themselves in their own apartments. Having a comfortable community TV area would be nice. But she really likes the activities, her apartment and the close friends she has made there. It’s a very pretty, clean, comfortable building.
