Our family would highly recommend Furman Funeral Home! My brother met an insurance agent this week who knows Phil Furman, and he said, "Phil is one of the best in the business." We agree! The home itself is poorly set up to try and navigate for any funeral over 30 people, with narrow spaces and tiny rooms. There's maybe 10 parking spots so they ask you to park in the laundromat parking or bank parking; but you end up having to park on random streets and I'm sure the people who live there hate it. I was asked when I first pulled in how I know the deceased... Really poor taste to harass people that way when they just pulled in for a funeral. And lastly, while in line to see loved ones, one of the staff loudly stated "please keep your time with the family brief". Excuse me? We're mourning a very sad and untimely passing and you're asking us to "be brief"? Absolutely no sympathy for the family whatsoever. Even my mom looked at me and said don't use this funeral home when she passes. If you have a funeral of 5 people in attendance then maybe this would work for you. Otherwise, steer clear!
