  Merrill Gardens is a lovely facility. It’s not only beautiful, it’s clean and the staff are friendly and work well together to ensure the residents are safe and well cared for. It’s in a great location too! Definitely a senior living worth considering.

  Merrill Gardens is a lovely community. It is clean and well maintained. David in hospitality does an amazing job! The staff that runs the restaurant and kitchen are very kind and caring. The techs and medical staff are compassionate and attentive, and very patient with the residents. They make every resident feel they are special. My mom feels they genuinely care about her well being and we feel it as well. I can’t say that I am impressed with the administrator Susan Monard or Reenie Glick the admissions director. Prior to moving our mom there they couldn’t do enough for us. Once my mom was established, they were difficult, hard to reach and trying to reach either one of them is like making an appointment with the president. I feel the kitchen, tech and medical staff deserve all the accolades and I hope they are being fairly compensated for all their hard work. If I had to do this over I’d probably choose a different senior living facility. I base this on the fact that I feel we were all fed a lot of great stories that were just that, stories.

  Merrill Gardens of Glen Mills offers spacious accommodations and a beautifully designed layout. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, and the staff members are consistently cheerful and attentive. Reenie, in particular, is exceptionally helpful and always goes above and beyond to support residents and partners. As a home care provider who works closely with Merrill Gardens, I can confidently and highly recommend their community.

  Merrill gardens is a wonderful place for your loved ones to live and some of the staff on the personal care side is amazing but as far as management and director wise it could use some adjustment. The director of health services(Raheem) is not at all welcoming, his whole demeanor is very off putting and nasty at times. My family spoke with him about some concerning issues multiple times and he basically just brushed it off and gave us attitude. I’ve often overhead staff members discussing how he talks to them as well and my family realized moving forward we will speak to someone else.The general manager seems to make excuses for this behavior and that is unacceptable as well. I honestly don’t know where he came from but they sure do need to get someone who actually enjoy there job in that position before he push away a-lot of future residents due to how his encounters are with the residents, family members and his staff. Other than that Merrill Gardens is overall great, from the activities they have planned throughout the day and how the place makes them feel at home. I hope and pray some changes be made soon because I want for my aunt to continue to stay there.
