Their recent price increase hasn’t maintained the service levels of the past. Handicap accessibility is limited, (microwaves)despite being advertised as a handicapped unit. Units are showing their age.

My father (age 94) had a stay in the assisted living section. The care he had was fantastic from all of the staff. He had a lot of problems due to his illness, but they were always there to take care of his needs. None of them lost patience with him even during his bad times. Dad liked all of them and said I did good picking the Keystone Villa. The cafeteria manager also tried to accommodate him during times when eating was difficult for him due to his condition. I highly recommend Keystone Villa of Douglassville.

I have been fighting for over a year for my loved ones there to get basic level care. Some of the staff are amazing and severely underpaid! Critical medications are not given correctly, the higher ups say they are working very hard to change things, Shawn the Regional Director is a “yes” man. He will have you believing he cares when in fact he does not. I have spoken to the VP Terri, and the CEO? Matt, all have given me nothing but lip service. My mother pays over 6k per month for poor care. The DOH and Aging and Adult Services are in the facility at least every other week. The food is horrible, no one cares, the help is overworked, no one cares. Everything is extra, transportation to doctors or anywhere, the activities are what my 3 year old grandson does at daycare. I just found out the refrigerator in the dining room that had drinks in it which the residents were supposed to have access to 24/7 has been emptied because people were taking too much. These people pay a minimum of 6k, the drinks are knock off brands such as Shasta- can’t they even get brand name drinks for the price they pay? Call bells are not answered, family gets no answer after 8pm, I could continue… but you get the picture. Do NOT put your family member in this place unless you have to. Unfortunately we have no choice.

It's okay here. Not a lot of staff. I would recommend it, but it wouldn't be my first choice. Friendly people though.
