The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a worldwide church with individual geographic branches/wards (like the West Linn ward and the Willamette ward that meet in this building). The doctrine is the same, regardless of the congregation you attend. Elder Joseph Wirthlin summarized it best: "The Church is not a place where perfect people gather to say perfect things, or have perfect thoughts, or have perfect feelings. The Church is a place where imperfect people gather to provide encouragement, support, and service to each other as we press on in our journey to return to our Heavenly Father." My family has felt warmly and kindly welcomed into this congregation, and we encourage anyone interested to come attend this church with us.
