  Merrill Gardens at Sherwood has been wonderful. The community is bright, welcoming, and incredibly well‑run, but it’s the people who make it exceptional. The staff are consistently kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in the residents’ well‑being. One of the biggest highlights has been the full‑time fitness trainer. The personalized mobility work and daily encouragement have made a noticeable difference in strength, confidence, and overall quality of life for our dad. It’s rare to find a senior living community that prioritizes wellness at this level. Highly recommend Merrill Gardens at Sherwood.

  My husband and I toured the community for my mother. The community is beautiful, and Stephanie did great at pointing out the amazing benefits for the residents. The residents really appeared to be enjoying some of the high end amenities, especially the fitness class! I could imagine my mom fitting right in and being comfortable there.

  This community is so bright and cheery! They have a wonderful fitness program, gym, and personal trainer. This is a very active community. The team here cares so much and really listens! They have great food too! Their bistro is my favorite place in the area ❤️

  My Father is in memory care at Merrill Gardens. He receives a lot of encouragement and positive attention. The people who work there are awesome!

  My mother was treated with utmost disrespect in the memory care unit. Caregivers only spoke Spanish around her unless they were berating her for "not helping them" and they made jokes in spanish about "grabbing her by her hair"! These people don't actually care about your loved ones mentality or physical well being. This is a $$ based institution and I am so very happy to have my mother away from people who care more about their eyebrows than they do the clients.
