- JGJefferson GreeneMar 5, 20204.0The program does not work with the school dealing with the children, for instance: when informing Champions on their website as to what days your child will be attending , Champions does not share that information with the school in which they reside and therefore, every week you have contact both the school and Champions as to what the child’s schedule is. For families that run their own businesses, this can be troublesome for the school and Champions because they prefer everyone works 8-5 Monday-Friday. Champions also waitlists kids all the way until two days AFTER the child was to attend. Unless you call your local Champions Program directly you will not know if your child is approved to attend. Therefore you’re left wondering whether or not your child is able to attend. Champions also does not brush the children’s teeth and therefore it’s your 5 year old child’s responsibility to develop this healthy habit. Champions is good about texting, keeping the children safe, informing parents of illness, and providing info on other child care options on school off days.
