- DBDavid BrownApr 29, 20255.0I used to go to this church many years ago when it was near Sellwood, for bible study with my son (I was too shy to stay for services). I left for awhile, experienced life without the Lord and then went through a traumatic experience. The very next day, I went back to this church, however they had moved to Oregon City. This time I had the courage to overcome my shyness and now I am a member. This church is for real. It is an extended family of sorts. The people are authentic, the music and singing are joyful, each potluck is filled with delicious surprises, the Bible study and sermons are practical and enriching and there is an overwhemling display of God’s love there. It’s not a flashy church by any means, it simply reflects the heart of the people: Humble and loving. Everyone cares for everybody, and it shows. This is my second home and our doors are wide open for you.
