  My boyfriend and I have been visiting his grandma here for the past 9 months since she moved in. We have really appreciated the quality of living improvement she has seen from her previous residence. We typically have lunch and then do some activities on the weekends together. The food is tasty, the staff are super nice, and we have a really great time playing bingo and doing some of the other activities they have available. Last week we did watercolor painting! The person who runs the activities is hilarious and kind. -Sierra Gerber

  I recently visited my daughter's mother-in-law who is a resident at Merrill Gardens to celebrate a couple of family birthdays. We enjoyed a delicious and plentiful dinner before taking a tour of the facility. We were impressed with the cleanliness of all areas and the security measures that were in place. Her studio apartment was much more spacious than we expected and included a kitchen area, walk in closet and a full size washer and dryer. The facility has lots of windows and a wonderful roof top patio with views of the mountain ranges, east and west. We look forward to visiting again and participating in some of the activities such as Bingo, jigsaw puzzles, crafts and movies!

  I went to see one of my son-in-law's parents and I was happy to see her and enjoy a dinner there. The waiter was wonderful. The place is so clean and there were a lot of windows and it was an open space. Visiting her room was roomier than I expected. The room seems bigger than a studio. We walked by and saw a bingo room and hopefully we will be back to play bingo. We checked out the theater and it seemed nice. The exercise room was so clean. The gathering room is wide open and fresh air for everyone. The party room was big and clean of course. It is new. We even checked out the parking level and it was cool on a hot day. It was echo-y. The elevator was nice and roomy. I liked the entrance.

  I've been to Merrill Gardens a few times now to visit family. The staff is very kind, the meals are delicious, and you can tell it is well maintained and clean. The rooms are spacious and updated, with nice views of Hillsboro. I'll be back for another BLT with fries. And to visit Paul and Sue!
