- CHClarke HyltonJan 3, 20265.0Mom and Dad have adjusted really well to their new home at Merrill Gardens. I've been out to visit a handful of times and the apartments are really nice with *lots* of light. The food here is also a highlight, and the staff is friendly--from reception to the dining room. My parents have also made quite a few friends, which is probably one of the harder parts of moving from a long-time neighborhood to a brand new place with brand new people. I feel a lot better knowing they aren't alone taking care of a large yard and that they have the ability to focus on the things they want to do now, rather than have to do. Dad was just mentioning something to this effect over the holidays; it's a relief to them too. I also feel better knowing there is a welcoming and capable staff to watch over them when needed--care in an unobtrusive way. Some independent/assisted living facilities can be a little depressing to visit. This is not one of them. It's bright, cheerful, clean, and welcoming. Thanks for taking care of my parents!

It was very reasonably priced and included meals which was very convenient. We really enjoyed being so close and meeting our folks’ friends in the community. All the staff were lovely and helpful. I would recommend staying for your visit.
- BTBrian ThomasDec 26, 20255.0I visited my Mom and Dad for the first time at Merrill Gardens after they moved in 4 months ago.They had told me many things about it so it was nice to finally see the place. I am very pleased to see that Mom and Dad are in such a place and know that they are getting great meals and have others watching over them. I am close to retirement myself and hope that I can find a place as great as they are living in now. Great staff and great facilities. Great Christmas dinner that we had. Fantastic exercise program. Keep it up there guys.

Its been 5 1/2 months and it just keeps getting better. The staff is so thoughtful and truly seem to have my best interest in mind. The activities are fun and seems like there is always something going on. The food is great and I can eat whenever I please from 7am to 7pm. I'm close to my son now so he comes and visits almost every day. I love it here at Merrill Gardens Hillsboro. Great staff, Great residents, Great community they have developed.

She was incredibly kind and welcoming, walked me to the meeting space, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her hospitality really set the tone and made the experience even better. I would highly recommend Merrill Gardens for both its environment and its outstanding staff.
