- AMAicia MattoonMay 6, 20195.0We were intrigued by the building- it looked as if it had been a store, or other place of business- not your typical LDS church building. The familiar logo was in front -on main Street- with 'visitors welcome'. Plenty of parking and we followed the organ sounds till we found the chapel. It looked like one of our churches inside... We were so warmly greeted and felt love and comfort immediately. We enjoyed a beautiful Fast Sunday meeting and stimulating SS class. We wished we could have stayed longer.
- TETravis ElderMay 11, 20135.0My family and I had the pleasure of attending the Gold Beach branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for over six years. We have so many lasting memories of the wonderful people and the many fun activities. I can still remember a fun Halloween activity where a couple of my young children got to turn several of the adults into toilet paper mummies. We looked forward to the good company and good food at potlucks held every third Sunday. We enjoyed service projects such as cleaning a cemetery in the Gold Beach area. Most of all I appreciate the growth of my testimony in the Lord Jesus Christ during that time as it was strengthened so many times whether listening to members share testimony on Sunday or through my service with them. We will never forget our Gold Beach family!
