But their stance on LGBTQ+ topics still needs massive improvement. That said, the individuals in Springfield's 1st Ward are very nice kind people who don't all necessarily agree with the larger institution.

I called today about 2:30 the supposedly lovely young woman on the other end decided to hang up on me rather than listen to what I had to say about the way her missionaries members of her church were disrespectful to me where sex is rude and disrespectful saying things that no missionary should be saying on property when they are here to proselytize and solicit individuals to go to their Church

They came to our door and while they were kind and friendly and we even attended their church and had a fine time (which is why I am giving 2 stars), after we decided the church was not for us personally. And after repeated attempts by my husband to politely decline, and upon further spelling it out to the "elders" via multiple exchanges, they are still contacting us. After some months, tonight 2 new members came to my home again asking specifically for me by name and informed me that they were told to check on me. Please stop contacting me and my husband. It is in poor taste and takes away from the positive aspects of our experience. People go to church because they are called in their heart to go, not because they are continually pressured bordering on harassment, nice or not. Please change the way you handle outreach. Thank you. God bless.
- ZVZenia VoronMar 4, 20181.0How is this a Jesus Christ savior church if my boyfriend and I were chased away by minister himself for camping outside ?? We came to Oregon for work and got ripped off ,ended up on the street , we thought perhaps if we go to church there well be someone to help us find shelter and work ,,, we are good people , just from out of town and struggling in a place where we have no connections ,, we were hoping to develop some at church but I guess these people know nothing of what Jesus said about helping the poor . I'm surprised and hurt . Hurt that this church is only helping old ladies with money and not people in real need .. shame on you Terribly sorry ,, like I said ,, we are not from here ,, I made a comment about a wrong church ,, the place I was speaking of is on Coburg road , near Safeway , they don't even have a comment box ,, cultish darkness that preys on older people with donations . Sorry Latter-day saints,, we will go to you next time .
