  This is a happy place! I'm a retirement community musician that plays here from time to time and I must say the audiences are always wonderful - super friendly, always appreciative, and they dance! Same goes for the staff - always friendly and helpful. It's a genuine pleasure to come here and play music at Touchmark @ Pilot Butte! - Paul Eddy

  Why We Chose Touchmark at Pilot Butte Homelike Atmosphere We have had the opportunity to visit this community several times, and every time we are impressed with the helpful professionalism of the staff and management Pilot Butte has an appealing layout with wide hallways, fireplaces, sitting areas. The rooms are bright and spacious with a modern style. We were introduced to several couples on our over-night visits and enjoyed them all as folks we would like to live with. The opportunity for socialization with pet groups and bridge groups was very appealing to us. Excellent Food and Dining We experienced informal dining at the Wally bar and formal dining at the ALX restaurant and found each to be appealing with a wide variety of menu choices at attractive prices. Professional Recruitment Process We have interviewed several options for senior living and the recruitment process at Pilot Butte was far and away the best. Kimberly Blackwell was always informative and responsive with a kind manner and sense of humor that complemented her professional approach. Every staff member seemed pleasant and appeared to like the working environment.

  Touchmark at Pilot Butte is an outstanding senior living facility. Relatively new—5 years, it is spacious and well planned with central meeting areas on all floors. These areas have fireplaces or aquariums and generous seating areas. The ALX dining room is elegant, while the Wally Bar is friendly. The menu is the same at either location and the food is excellent. The Touchmark staff is friendly and caring, many have been with this location since it was built. Touchmark as a company celebrated their 45 anniversary this year, so they have excelled in the Senior Living/care market for almost half a century—they know how to make a quality facility and staff it with competent, caring management. We interface with management daily; they are open to all questions and suggestions. When we moved to Touchmark Pilot butte in August 2025, we were pleasantly surprised by the outgoing friendliness of the residents. We developed new friends immediately and enjoy the many daily activities with them. My wife Maggie and I highly recommend Touchmark at Pilot Butte. Ken Chmiel

  We moved to Bend from the east coast to be closer to our children and grandchildren (not an uncommon reason). After thoroughly researching senior living facilities, we decided upon Touchmark at Pilot Butte. We have been nothing but delighted. The facility itself is exceptional providing apartments ranging from studios to two bedrooms with a den and balconies in a single building. There is a large indoor pool, a fully-equipped exercise facility, theater, dining room, rec room with regulation pool table, and more. The center of activity is Wally's, the bar and eatery on the second floor. It's a very busy place. What really sets this Touchmark facility apart is the exceptional staff and service. They are hardworking, friendly and dedicated to seeing that every resident is well-served and happy! Touchmark at Pilot Butte is really worth checking out if you are in the market for senior living at its best in Bend.

  I have lived at Pilot Butte for 6 months now...& must say it's like living in an elegant hotel...with spacious common areas that are well appointed...complete with wonderful indoor pool classes, a beauty salon, workout room & friendly residents. Teri does a great job of listening to resident's needs. Bri does an exceptional job of providing shopping & events to keep the most active senior entertained. The movie theater is exceptional...with resident input encouraged. Popcorn always available! The weakest link is the quality & variety of the food, as agreed to by most residents. Food is not readily available 2 days of the week, aside from pre-ordering take-out. The wait staff is excellent.. Medical shuttle transportation is most appreciated.
