BrightPath Academy Wanless Park, previously known as ABC Academy Wanless Park, is located at 18 and 20 Melrose Ave., just off of Yonge Street in the Yonge and Lawrence area. Our child care centre has been located in these two houses, side-by-side, since 2007 and has spaces for 84 children between the ages of 4 months to 4 years old.
We offer a play-based approach that fosters independence and teaches and encourages the children to experiment with play, explore, and inquire about the world around them. We offer many enrichment programs such as French with Madame Aleks, X Movement Music and Dance, the Jolly Phonics program, WeeMove, and Yoga and Mindfulness programs.

Our younger one is still at Brightpath and is excited every day to learn with friends. We've been really thrilled to see their progression and growth. The teachers and directors are quite accessible to talk about any concerns, and are very invested in the kids.

The warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately put both of our kids at ease, helping to make the transition to daycare a smooth and positive experience. The dedicated team of educators has played a pivotal role in development and fostering social skills, and it is evident that the staff genuinely cares about each child's well-being. The facilities are well-maintained, clean, and equipped with age-appropriate toys and learning materials. Both of our kids love going to 'school', and especially playing in the outdoor area. We appreciate the positive impact BrightPath has had on our family, and will be sad when it is time to move on.

The teachers and staff are warm, friendly, available and responsive. The app gives us up-to-date info on food intake, pictures, daily schedules, naps, and is a great way to communicate directly with teachers. We love the weekly extracurricular activities including French, yoga, and movement classes and enjoy all the great ways the school involves parents on monthly activities.

The classrooms are calm, organized, and we love that there is an outdoor area for the children to play in. The teachers are always coming up with new and innovative ways to engage the children.
