- MBManpreet BinnerSep 2, 20251.0I signed up for the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints, Sister Tapasa and sister Briggs explained me that one should overcome his desires in order to become a saint, one should not feed his lust. Then I asked her how come Joseph Smith had multiple wives and you call him a prophet? She goes no no he was just a caretaker and because his only purpose was to give the wives a gift of kids I asked but why did he had to do it himself ?he could have asked them to marry other men who had the same faith? She goes we don't always know the will of God I asked her anything, literally anything is justifiable with this logic She responded, "at that time people were attacking us and killing our men so in-order to keep up with numbers of our community he had no other options but to marry multiple women" I asked her with the same logic every religion is encouraging the followers to increase their population what about them ? She had no answer, I am not lying I have our phone call recordings and text messages. This is the only reason I am giving it one star.
- DVDanny VincentAug 18, 20251.0Normally I scheduled a interview to get baptized to forgive my sins now I will say this clean well organized but the two volunteer workers where pretty disrespectful for two 19 year olds normally I open the door for them he later said the worst Desrepectful comment to me which I don't like because they where suppose to respect the people from coming in and to accept peoples problems in life then I sitted down chatting with them about my problems now I was thinking getting Baptist on the same day he said no follow these guide lines and I m like OK he gave me a piece of paper that scheduled to come to the church for 3 times just to get baptist which did confuse me a little i asked ok sundays it is normally he showed me the areas normally said a pray for me for a second time now as I was leaving he's buddy of he's starts to giggle laugh like you just don't care at all about the person you know there's one thing I know is this don't trust people for anything plus having saying that if they Baptist me I would do volunteer work there normally but whatever I go no acceptance at all in canada
