Idk how anyone joins this church. If you have any questions no one answers the phone ever and they never call back after leaving a message

Very nice service, Baptist leaning I thought but probably lists as non-denominational, very Bible-based with scriptures noted (book and verse), and humorous life-lessons relayed by Pastor Whitt, always entertain while simultaneously teaching. I was happy to find that the first Sunday I visited, they were taking Communion (if you've never done this, they give you a little cup of grape juice with a cracker sealed to it, and you listen to the Pastor remind you that the tiny cracker represents Christ's body that suffered on the Cross while He died to pay the debt off caused by the sin of the World including you and me, you are instructed to eat the cracker, then more reminders about how Christ's blood washed us clean, we all drink the cup of grape juice, and then there is a song and we go home). I believe that the sermon is before Communion, but that has been a month or more ago, so the sermon might be after the Communion . . . But I do like the chance to take Communion, and not all churches do it. The only thing I don't like, and this is my complaint against 4 churches I've been to in the last 2 years (including when I was invited to attend with friends or I've visited Christmas specials on Saturday, not that I'm hopping from church to church), but they all hurt my ears, so I have to wear ear plugs. I don't understand why churches think they have to play the music loud enough to burst ear drums. It's like they're trying to compete with Heavy Metal Bands to see who can be the LOUDEST. One day when everyone is buying hearing aids, it will be too late to save the congregation's hearing. And I know the crurches know it's a problem, because they offer ear plugs at the doors (they have baskets full of little plastic bags you can rip open and put the hearing aids in before the music begins). My question is WHY?!? If it's such a problem that you offer ear plugs . . . Just turn the music DOWN!!!
