Church seemed very nice if you do not have kids… we attended for the first time with our 6mo old. It happened to be a child dedication service, we were enjoying the service up until we were handed a card saying that if our child was getting “restless or a little noisy” to visit their family room. Our child was not crying and was intermittently babbling, we certainly would have taken him from the service if we thought he was being excessively loud. This was super embarrassing for us as we thought our child was behaving well and we had given him some (silent) toys to entertain him. The church seemed nice w/ a good pastor, but be prepared to be asked to leave if you have children who are unable to sit perfectly still and silent

Been around for a while but wanted to leave a review after another phenomenal service today that really spoke to me. One Church is such a beautiful place of worship, togetherness, and Christ consciousness. I’m so grateful for pastor Greg, the amazing praise team, and all of the staff and members of this community. Thank you all for making the world a better place! For anyone new to Columbus or looking for a church to join - One Church is the ONE & ONLY!

I pulled up One Church on Google Maps to go to their website to watch their online church (highly recommend if you can’t make it in) and was appalled at the reviews that don’t accurately represent the experience of this church… so here it is. I have gone here over the past few years at random times, sometimes in person, sometimes online. What has been consistent is their growth in the large community they serve at each of their 3 services on Sundays, the passion and relatability of the message delivered by the pastor, and the heavily organized and well managed facility as a whole that also continues to expand to serve the growing community they support. This is because the experience is a 5 Star experience… It is welcoming, light, warm, nonjudgmental, soulful, and everything you want from a church experience and more. They often have such a large gathering for their services that people have to be seated in the entrance/lobby area as ‘overflow’. They provide complimentary tea and coffee and they have a welcome tent outside so that all newcomers can be greeted and formally introduced to the church separate from the service and out of the way of incoming guests. They offer many groups you can partake in to build a community of your own there as well. As an organization, they are highly professional, modern, approachable, organized, and human. Pastor Greg is one of a kind. He does not just deliver a message, he makes it relatable, understandable, soulful, humorous, nonjudgmental, modern and light. He even sometimes has a board where he’ll break it down into metaphors you can understand better. There are typically themes/series where each message builds upon the previous and leads into the following. Every time I go, something resonates with me. There is so much energy, effort and care poured into his sermons and the service as a whole each week that needs to be acknowledged and honored. Even if this is not your style, what they provide should be respected… The band and singers are TALENTED, soulful, diverse, inspirational, and I get chills every time.. This church embodies inclusivity, diversity, relatability, passion, soul, and just being human, which most churches lack. This is because of the Pastor and the others that work at the church. They should all be admired and respected for what they have built and for what they continue to deliver every week. This Google review rating is highly unreflective of this organization’s experience provided and overall success today and even the good reviews do not represent what the actual experience is like, so I just wanted to make sure I painted a clearer picture for anyone considering a visit 💕

I didnt feel welcomed at this Church March 2024 or April of 2024 I was connected to four different faith and belief systems. They were judging because I didnt have on designer clothes on but I wore basic slacks and a nice blouse as a single woman of color. The woman that recommended to the church from a Columbus public library was not as open either. She was a lighter skinned African American woman and I was asking for encouragement and empowerment and she did want to be bothered said she only has a relationship with her family. Not very Christian like.

Frequently Asked Questions About One Church

Where do I park?

If you’re a first-time visitor, turn on your hazards once you get here and we'll have a parking lot attendant help guide you to your VIP spot! The best way to enter and exit our parking lot is to enter from the north and exit to the left. Depending on the service you decide to attend, traffic may be heavy. We have shuttle busses going to our off campus parking at OSU Medical Facility and Heartland Bank. Keeping safety in mind, please make sure to use the shuttle to cross the street.

What will my kids do while I'm in the service?

We believe that there’s no junior Holy Spirit! We've created a safe and dynamic service for your kids through 5th grade where they can worship and grow in their understanding of God! One Kids is way more than childcare while the adults have real church. Upon arrival, children will be checked in and receive a name tag with a unique number. In case your child needs your immediate attention, the teacher will contact you through text messaging. For more information, you can check it out at one.church/kids
