I can't say enough good things about Bright Horizons Capital City. Randy and Lisa run an incredible organization, made better by a consistent team of teachers. Many of the teachers and staff have been there over 18 years, which was a huge selling point for us. Tenure at most places is much shorter, so we saw this as a testament to how BH takes care of its staff and how committed the teachers are to their work. We've now been at this one location for over 4 years and three kids, having experienced all classroom ages and many teachers. While BH is certainly pricey (especially with 3 kids now there!), we are willing to pay the premium to have confidence that our kids are in incredible, caring and dedicated hands. That peace of mind is worth a lot to two working parents!

Honestly, for all the most important things you want in a daycare Bright Horizons is a 6 out of 5! All of the staff are wonderful. The teachers are so caring, you can see that they not only want to take care of your children but they want to help them succeed, learn, and grow. My son attends here he loves it. And I noticed instantly from the start how much he was learning mentally, physically, and emotionally. He has so many friends!
The facility is clean and they do a wonderful job in making sure it is safe.
They serve balanced meals and have an outdoor play place.
It is worth the money, and price is on average for all the good daycares in the area but I wish there was more ways to get assistance or discounts in the tuition. I wish there was a sibling discount at least since we are definitely having our sons sibling attending! Again it’s worth every penny though.

Our family has used Bright Horizons for childcare for more than 6 years and have been in all four classrooms (infant, toddler, preschool, and kprep). We receive frequent (weekly) communication from administration and teacher retention/consistency has been excellent. The staff truly cares about the growth and development of each child!

My Baby has been going to the center since she was 4.5 months old in the Infant program and she absolutely loves it there. All the teachers are amazing!! They keep us apprised of the progress and how we as parents can help! It’s a very engaging community of children and teachers.

My family lives pretty far away and I visited 4 daycares in my area and 2 in-home daycares before seeing Bright Horizons. The other places were either not clean or it felt like there were too many kids per staff. Many of the teachers seemed burned out or there were people in and out of the in-home daycares that made me feel uncomfortable and like they didn’t have much accountability or oversight. My friend suggested Bright Horizons. It is 40 minutes away from where I live, but pretty close to where I work. When I visited I was instantly at ease. It was clean. The teachers were engaged. The teacher to child ratio was lower than the state requirement so I knew my child could get the attention I felt was needed. My daughter has now been there for over 3 years and is absolutely THRIVING and my baby has now been there for 7 months. After the pandemic they made us feel safe to bring our toddler and infant back. We are incredibly happy with teachers who have a ton of experience (not frequent turnover like you see in a lot of daycares) and they absolutely care about our daughters’ development. They provide daily anecdotes and suggestions for some of our concerns and are genuinely playful and creative with the educational curriculum. My daughters are be attached to their teachers and light up when they see the staff. We love it there and I recommend to all my friends who have children. It says a lot that we drive 40 minutes to and from daycare with our kids (especially when it’s inconvenient working from home!!) because our kids’ health and safety are the highest priorities. Bright Horizons meets those high expectations every time.
