- CDChristy DeanJun 16, 20221.0Staff changes are constant. Communication from staff regarding care-even in emergency situations is non-existent. I have been a parent for 13 years and Champions is the worst daycare experience my family has ever had. Unfortunately, they are the only option our district offers for before and after school care. Staff doesn’t return phone calls, provide calendars (except in corrupted email files) ensure kids shoes are tied (which leads to playground accidents) several occasions I have paid for care and literally not even been able to utilize it due to organizational issues from staff, costing me a significant amount of money. Security doors to facility are often propped open (gym area) by staff, their payment system doesn’t actually process flex accounts so you have to file a claim for reimbursement from your flex banking system every month (huge hassle) over half hour holds on the phone in the event you need to call. If your district can provide an alternative after school care-utilize it because Champions is the WORST. Champions just makes life harder for parents.
