Don't hesitate, if you've been wanting a great environment to work out in, take a class or play a sport, this place is great. The staff are helpful, friendly, and it's always clean. I call my days here my ME time.

Would give 0 stars if I could, was paying 56.45 for 8-9 months which is a lot for a gym membership when considering you can get a yearly pass at other places for around 275. But yesterday they changed my membership without contacting me and the management decided to charge me 75 a month. They are out of their minds, instant canceled do not create a membership at the ymca (rockaway) they are a bunch of scam artists

Sebastien Augustin Director, Membership Sales and Engagement is very unprofessional and does not have the decency and respect to reply to an email within a reasonable time. I sent an email to him on September 25, 2025 regarding a membership question and no response, I followed up with another email on Setpember 28th, 2025 and still to this day no response. He is clearly incompetent.
