My mom was admitted for rehab today. The staff was amazing very welcoming, the concierge was great and the nurses and aides on the 6th floor. I was also very impressed how clean everything was from the lobby to the floor she is on. I highly recommend.

My father went there for physical rehab, he walked into there with the help of a Walker and was carried out of there 6 weeks later unable to walk. They left him in his bed for days at a time, or would put him into a wheel chair and leave him there for seven hours! He was there for physical therapy and he was in worse shape after being there for six week!! He left there with sepsis and had to go back into the hospital a few days later. I would give The Pines a negative 5 if there was such a rating!!! If you don’t want your loved one to be mistreated and to suffer, then don’t send them to The Pines in Poughkeepsie.

I was sent to the Pines recuperating from sepsis. The first few days were very confusing and the body function was humiliating. The aid were amazing as I cried I was hugged and secured emotionally that what I was going through should not cost me any embarrassment. May I say thank you to all the ladies on the sixth floor, the rehab rehabilitation center, and of course the ladies that dealt with the recreation. Bingo! Cleanliness is impressive; I had the option of having my laundry done or sent home. Thank you everyone! I would love to individualize my gratitude, but the list was long and I don’t know how to spell their names anyway with love.
