  Paul is the best funeral home owner in the Finger Lakes! Covert funeral home is the cleanest funeral home I’ve ever been in. The owner Paul treats everyone like family and makes you feel welcome. I highly recommend.

  I’ve been a funeral director for over 30 years, and have met some of the best professionals and some of the worse. Of recent I attended a funeral that Paul was directing. He provided a seamless service, unbelievable preparation of my friend for a beautiful viewing for everyone to have closure, seeing Gramma Connie for the last time looking so nice with her hair done, dressed up and knowing how much she went through. It really helped everyone who attended the service to move through this loss; Giving Connie the dignity she deserved. In these days of cremation or direct disposition with no final viewing for family and friends really robs everyone of the mental, physical and emotional needs to navigate the rough water ahead. I’m very thankful to the Mott family for allowing myself and others to be able to see Connie one last time. I know it helped the great grandchildren the most. By you making this tough decision, you gave us a priceless final gift from someone we will always love and dearly miss. Thank you Paul for giving her and everyone attending your very very best. 5 stars is not enough, but you are and never will be the kind of funeral director that needs the stars. That’s what sets you apart.

  I cannot say enough good things about Covert Funeral home. The care and compassion they showed my wife's family during the passing of my father-in-law was second to none. I am hoping we will not need their services for a long time, but if that time comes, we will not use any one but them.
