- DWDestiny WamackApr 5, 20261.0I’m currently visiting from abroad. I am a member of the church. I called ahead of time before Easter because I wanted to know what time the service would start and if it would be a normal service, the person on the phone told me to arrive at 10 AM and that it would be the normal service I arrived, I’m currently here right now as I’m writing this review and (chruch) is closed today— there is no one here. This could have been avoided had they done their due diligence and checked the schedule. Not having a car visiting from abroad having to take Uber, etc., and traveling to get to THE CHURCH to discover that it’s closed due to general conference was a big letdown especially when other churches still stay opened for members to watch together in church. I contacted the number that is associated with THE CHURCH address — please in the future let’s do better to give people the correct information. Thank You
- JVJcl VJul 21, 20243.0Not a very welcoming church, my first time there, I was lost, when I found the entrance it appeared 2 guys were staff by the entrance, I had to tell them I’m new and where do I go? They said go inside and have a seat. No one smiles here. I felt very out of place here. Much different than the church I’m accustomed to attending. The church I used to go to they have greeters at the door, ask if you’re new, take you to the seat, the churches I’ve been to also have live and lively, cheerful music, this church sings versus of a book. After a lady gave her testimony, no one clapped afterwards. It’s not easy going on stage and giving a testimony. Is clapping not allowed? Babies crying throughout the service, after about 30 minutes I had to leave. Why isn’t there a separate room/ day care for the young kids? Sadly I won’t be going back and will continue to look for a home church. I only write this review in hopes some changes can be made here. At least get a separate room for day care so the babies aren’t crying throughout the service. Your experience may differ from mines, Im not saying it’s a bad church, it’s just not a church for me.
- ADAlex DorroughDec 25, 20185.0The building is pretty and well maintained. The parking lot is very large as well as far as New York parking lots are concerned. The congregation was generally quite friendly as well This is a great place to worship on Sunday!
