If the inside of the facility has as much trash laying around inside as it does outside - gross

RSWS - daycare that teaches kids it's OK to ignore safety and people with disabilities. RSWS continues to block fire hydrants and public wheelchair access with trash and signs. Repeatedly told, repeatedly ignored - safety and accessibility mean nothing here. It's selfish, careless, and illegal.

This school/daycare clearly doesn’t care about public safety or accessibility. Despite being told repeatedly, they keep blocking a fire hydrant with garbage cans and signs and obstructing the sidewalk, making it impossible for people in wheelchairs to get by. Not only is this inconsiderate, it’s dangerous and illegal. A school/daycare should set an example for children, not openly ignore basic safety and ADA accessibility.

The River School School, A Bright Horizons School, is truly without equal in New York City. Heather Murray, the Director of the School is one of the most brilliant and kind people I have ever met. She is knowledgeable about children, childcare, early learning and truly engaged with her teaching staff, students, and parents. And she makes it all look effortless. Heather leads through positivity, openness and kindness. She is consistently inclusive, intuitive, and responsive—and makes all those “Ives” seem effortless. Ms. Alana Einhorn, her Co-Director, has also been completely wonderful. She is similarly super-smart, down-to-earth and knowledgeable--and the kids love talking to her. She and Heather are a truly brilliant team. They are always looking for ways to improve things and elevate the program, and are open to suggestions on how to accomplish this as well. The teachers are engaged, personable and total pros, Ms.Kelly, Mr. Tony, Ms. Corine, Ms. Jamilla, Ms. Lidia, and Ms. Tina are all fantastic people, and contribute to creating an excellent and caring learning regimen. Our son has been attending The River School for three years now, and our family is thrilled with the program! We cannot recommend it more highly.

Both my girls started at RS from 7 months until they left for Kindergarten. We could not have asked for a better or more nurturing group of teachers. They loved and cared for our girls like their own, and we built such a strong community of friends there. Our girls learnt so much, not just book smarts but the value of friendship, creativity and compassion. We would highly recommend RS to anyone who is looking for a place to nurture and love their children.
