  We couldn't have been happier with the team at Bright Horizons at 89th street. Our daughter started in the infant room and was in the toddler room, and it was amazing to see her open up to other adults and kids after only being with us. Her teachers were warm and truly cared about her, and it was always nice to see how well they knew her. We only left because we moved, but they set a very high bar for future childcare arrangements!

  We've had a great experience at bright horizons. All of the teachers are very warm and kind. They truly enjoy being with the kids and I have nothing but positive things to say about them.

  We love Bright Horizons at West 89th and their programs. The teachers and administrators are caring, professional, trustworthy and communicative. Our daughter has been going there for more than a year, and she has thrived and has grown so much. She loves it there and adores her teachers and friends. The center has a family business vibe that we didn’t see in other Bright Horizons in the city, and we are so happy we chose it. Everyone knows each other, and staff is super nice, professional, and personable; feels like a big family. Classes are street level with windows and there are playgrounds and Central Park where they take the kids. Highly recommended

  We love it here :-) We really appreciate the care the center took during the pandemic, and it feels like our daughter learns something new every single day!

  We started our 3-year-old at Bright Horizons in September after his previous daycare (which he started at when 12-weeks-old) closed during the pandemic. We were nervous knowing that this would be a new school he had never been to and a school with never-before-seen procedures given the COVID-19 pandemic. During our enrollment period, the front office staff were patient with our questions and made recommendations on how best to help our son with this transition. Staff are incredibly transparent in a time when accessibility to the facility is limited to just staff and children by holding multiple Zoom meetings for parents to discuss curriculum and school procedures (they welcome, and encourage, parent feedback on how things are working and make tweaks accordingly). They also hold Zoom meetings that give parents a peek into the classroom to see the children sing, or do crafts (one particularly endearing one was when the children got to play with pumpkin seeds right out of the pumpkin). The school's curriculum is thoughtful and child-centered by setting up activities for the children to engage as they are comfortable. We are so grateful to have found Bright Horizons at West 89th Street and appreciate all the hard work of the staff and teachers!
