Bright Horizons child care centers, preschools and schools include a premier early education curriculum and knowledgeable educators and teachers who meet the needs of children at every age and stage. At Bright Horizons, you’ll find infant or toddler care, preschool and pre K programs, kindergarten, elementary schools, and Montessori schools. We also understand the many needs of working parents.
Our family has been attending Bright Horizons West 72nd Street for about four years. We've had at least one child in each class from infant through 4K, and the teachers at each level are wonderful. Recently, the current leadership and staff at the center have fostered the warmest, kindest, and most competent school environment we have experienced. The center has kept an open dialogue with us about any concerns they or we may have, and the entire staff across every classroom works together to foster the growth and development of each child. We are especially grateful to the extraordinary toddler team that is currently in place. Any toddler classroom can be difficult to manage given the wide array of needs among 12-to-24-month-olds. The current toddler teaching team makes magic happen in their classroom. Every time we walk into the room--no matter what part of the day--the environment is calm, playful, and caring. The classroom has a peaceful feeling unlike any other toddler class we have encountered. The teachers clearly respect and like each other, and they care deeply about the children in their care. As a result, our child is always happy to start the day at dropoff and warmly waives goodbye to each teacher before leaving at pickup. Throughout the day the teachers keep the app updated with information and pictures, and each day at pickup, they give us a detailed update about how our child handled each part of the day, including meals, naptime, and playtime. Thanks to the focused and patient work of the toddler teaching team, our child has flourished in that classroom both in physical and verbal skills. We highly recommend this center, which has been a kind and supportive environment for our children.

This place went downhill. My child’s been going there since 6 months. Staff turn over, no communication what so ever. Director got fired, teachers fired for no reason and they don’t tell us. People get sick or lice and nobody tells parents. Great location but I wouldn’t send my child back here if I had to do it all over again.

Our son was in the infant class and it was so great for him and his development. The teachers and staff are all wonderful and really love the kids. Our son loved BH, we loved it, the only reason we left is because we moved. I would recommend it to anyone.

Bright Horizons at West 72nd is an amazing childcare center. The staff are warm, welcoming and truly make parents & teachers feel so comfortable leaving their children in BH care. Not only was it a place we loved to send our son before Covid, but we've been so thrilled with the response & safety measures that have put in place since. They work diligently to ensure children & staff are safe, the building and classrooms are clean and the protocols in place align with the latest CDC, stay and NYC guidance.
Our son transitioned back to daycare (post-Covid) better than we could have ever expected thanks to the BH 72 staff. He is excited to go to school each day, he's learning so much, developing emotionally & mentally and having tons of fun.
