- WWWeili WangFeb 12, 20255.0I’m a bit confused at the negative reviews but wanted to share our positive experience and that we have nothing but great things to say about this BH center. Cassandra, the center director, is super helpful, friendly, and responsive to calls/emails. She has always gone above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed from day 1 and that we were a part of this BH family despite we initially were only using the center for back-up care. She is also very hands-on and involved with center operations, and we frequently see her in the classrooms interacting with kids alongside the teachers. We now plan to enroll our 1 year old full-time here.

Before Bright Horizons, our son was enrolled in another daycare on 57th and 11th and because of the horrendous care he received there, we transferred him to Bright Horizons at 53rd within a week. We couldn't be happier with our decision. The staff are incredible kind and caring from the director to the teachers. From the very first day, they made us feel comfortable and safe with leaving our son. Ms. Ana is the BEST and our son spends all day doing fruitful activities with her. He has blossomed since he started and its clear how fast he is progressing developmentally because of their program. We cant thank them enough for taking such good care of our sweet boy!

As you can see in other reviews (I should have checked first!) they clearly don’t take that very seriously. They canceled my 8:30am booking at 8am, because they decided to take some DoE 3k kids that day instead, because they weren’t getting enough bookings (I wonder why that might be?). Seems like they don’t understand that the whole point of backup care is reliability. Won’t be coming here again. Also wouldn’t want to trust my children to someone so disrespectful of parent’s time, and of their prior commitments. You can do better than this in NYC!
