We could not be happier with the care our family as a whole has received from this Bright Horizons! The teachers here truly care for the children in their classrooms, and the support and confidence they have given us as new parents has been invaluable. The daycare directors know every child by name and the kids return that enthusiasm. We recommend this daycare to every family we know.

We LOVE Bright Horizons! Our little boy has learned and developed so much since beginning in 2K and now, about to graduate from 3K. Everyday he is enthused and excited about school—all because of the kind, nurturing, curious and stimulating environment that all his teachers create for their students. We will always be grateful for our time at BH (if we could stay forever, we would!).

My 4 year old daughter has been attending this BH location since she was two, in both the daycare and DOE 3-K and Pre-K programs. My 18 month old has been attending since she was 3 months old. We love the school. The teachers at all levels are caring, nurturing, and experienced. They make an effort to get to know all of the students, even outside their classroom, so the school feels like a close knit community. My older daughter was with Ms. Pia, Ms. Hillary and Ms. Katherine, and now Ms. Em and Ms. Kate. All are still with the school and all have been wonderful (we have seen very little turn-over in staff, which is great). My younger one loves Ms. Claire and Ms. Pam who run her current class. Even the teachers for after-school (shout out to Mr. Alfred), "schools out care", and substitute teachers are great and loved by the kids. Many like Mr. Joseph have been with BH for years, so are familiar faces to the students.
Beyond the staff, the school is very well run -- good and quick communication with parents, well established systems for care during school breaks and DOE holidays, etc. Recently, there was an issue with a persistent fire alarm in the building next door that meant the students have to evacuate. Most schools would have just closed had parents pick up their kids. BH managed to move the students to an NYU building for the reminder of the day, and temporarily relocated all of the students to another BH location by the next morning until the issue was resolved. Other issues like this have been resolved in similarly professional ways.
The only drawback of BH is that it is more expensive than some other programs. The cost can be offset if your kid stays for the free 3k and 4k programs -- this is one of the main reasons we moved our daughter here from a less expensive program that didn't have a DOE pre-k.

BH Noho is a great option for us, as it's within a couple of blocks from home and work and the perfect mix of love, play, and education at a very professional but still personal level. My kid went there for 3K and 4K and loved her teachers, the classroom engagement, and the entire school. Given that this is part of the NYC Free-K program, I am amazed by the dedication and care the teachers (and everyone else) put into it. Also - classrooms are underground and nobody loves that fact, but kids are spending as much time outside as possible. We did aftercare a few times and my kid also loved it. Finally, it helps tremendously that the school understands that most of the parents are working full-time.
