  My husband and I absolutely loved our experience here. We put our baby into daycare when she was 5 months old and everyone helped us with this big transition and treated our baby so well. It felt like a big loving community everyday when we dropped her off and picked her up. They also were very understanding with all of my calls and pop ins in the beginning when I was nervous to leave her. We could tell our baby was so well loved and that the directors, teachers, and all support staff were passionate about caring for children. They go above and beyond here. When our baby was having a hard time napping at daycare the director Michelle would often times hold her in her arms for her nap. We were so appreciative to the whole staff and we were so sad to leave. We didn’t live nearby and so that was the only reason we changed locations. Our daughter loved it here and was clear she loved everyone taking care of her. We would highly recommend them to anyone! Especially first time parents!

  I strongly suggest that other parents do their research before enrolling here. We enrolled our 5-month-old child in the infant program at Bright Horizons. Shortly after enrollment, the center’s license was suspended due to an incident involving a child abuse arrest, which required us to temporarily relocate our child to another facility. We decided to return to Bright Horizons because we had a positive experience with our child’s teacher. Unfortunately, within the first few weeks of rejoining, that teacher resigned unexpectedly, citing management issues. Despite these concerns, we chose to remain with the center to provide our child with consistency and a familiar environment. However, approximately one month later, we received a call on a Saturday afternoon from the Regional Director informing us that the infant program would be permanently closed effective the following Monday. No alternative arrangements or options at the same location were offered. This experience has left us deeply disappointed. The organization’s actions reflect a lack of consideration for the well-being of the children and demonstrate management’s failure to prioritize the families they serve.

  Not sure why the negative reviews, but noticed they are old and some related to back up care vs full time care. My little one has been at Bright Horizons Columbus Circle since 5 months. Initially, kids inevitably get sick often - just be ready for it - it’s either now or Pre-K. But we found it worked for us because we didn’t have the space w remote working to have a nanny or bandwidth to be a one person HR. The administration and teachers have been great. We’ve all seen that nanny in the park on her phone - you don’t have to worry about that here. Everything is structured, held to a high legal standard, monitored and the centre is clean. BH provided diverse stimulation (art, reading, different developmental activities, etc), structure and outdoor time weather permitting - we follow the same schedule at home. Every day you get a detailed journal of every diaper change, nap and meal / snack and tons of videos and pics. AM/PM snacks are provided. A lot of the staff have or are working on education degrees too. Have seen my little one develop intellectually and physically in leaps and bounds - his palette has also expanded being able to take advantage of the Little Green Gourmet meal delivery service, and eat w a group of little ones. He is always excited to go to school, and it’s so sweet to see him and his buddies excitedly run into each other at the playground. BH is now on the universal pre-K program, and an enrolled child can get priority for enrollment which is huge. A big thanks to Ms Kim and Miriam for running the centre, Ms Christine, Tia, Kia and Stef for the toddler rooms and Ms Sam, Jasmine and Danelvi the infant rooms.

  Karyn and her team do a great job creating a warm and nurturing environment for the children at BHCC. It's been wonderful to see my son grow and thrive thanks to his wonderful teachers. I'm always amazed by all he has been learning and I love how excited he is about going to daycare each day.

  I recently went on a tour and the staff was so welcoming and informed about child care. This site will definitely be a top choice when finializing child care for our infant.
