- RSreeves “mm” ssJul 19, 20251.0I suspect this particular church is the base for the young, name tagged and well groomed missionaries that on a regular basis walk the streets of upper manhattan in pairs kindly inviting strangers to their loving church. I have lived in this neighborhood for a number of years and may have been approached over a hundred times. It has come to the point that I view these missionaries as pests. Many are from out of town and have no idea that they are for example in a very catholic neighborhood and that many of the people that they approach probably fo not even understand them. Although these missionairies are polite I believe that it would be best for them to keep to themselves.
