Our experience at Huntington hills was truly 5 stars! It has a very pleasant atmosphere from the minute you walk in to the facility. It’s always clean, staff are caring, attentive and knowledgeable. If you need to complex rehab care this is the place to go. Huntington hills gold standard and understand they ranked as #1 for five star care in NY. Please keep up the great work. We need more facilities like Huntington hills to care for patients in the most vulnerable state . Thank you!

BEWARE: My 92 year old mom broke her hip and was admitted into Huntington Hills rehab. December 2024. At the time, she weighed 90 pounds and was completely dependent on the help and kindness of the staff. Unfortunately, she did not receive either. She was unable to walk to the bathroom and with her dementia, she was unable to call for help. Every day after work I would arrive at the rehab to find my mom's bed and her body full of urine or feces. At one point they had to completely replace the mattress. This meant that my mom was in her own urine for hours. No matter how much I complained or begged, it did not get better and the nasty attitudes of the "nurses," told me that my mom was being neglected and abused. At one point I had to call the police to make a report of the abuse. Finally, I hired a full time private Aide to make sure that my mom was being treated fairly and the daily reports were seriously concerning. If your loved one has any level of dementia, this is not the place for them. They are cruel.
