The Arbors at Westbury has been a wonderful experience for my Mom and our family, when we had to transfer her from another facility, due to its shutting down. The Arbors is well run with an exceptional, warm and caring staff. If you are in search of a homey and cozy environment where your loved one will be taken care of, check out the Arbors at Westbury, you won’t be sorry and you won’t have to worry!.

The Arbors at Westbury is such a wonderful place. I am talking from experiences since my Mom has been at two other assisted livings, and The Arbors is the BEST, with no comparison. From Meghan the director to the facilities staff, I have never seen so many caring and compassionate people. They care about their residents and give them the attention and love that a family member would give. I know my Mom is in great hands here and it’s an awesome feeling. I am beyond happy that my Mom is at The Arbors and I would recommend it for anyone looking for their loved one to reside.

The Arbors at Westbury is a great place for your aging loved one. They have activities for residents all throughout the day, and the staff here are fantastic. They are attentive and seem to really care about making a positive experience for their community. The leadership team is accessible during times of need, and they follow up on matters of concern. Giving up independent living is rough. No way to sugarcoat it. However, if you need to find a true home for a family member, the Arbors at Westbury is a great option.

Enjoyed a wonderful tour of the entire facility by Susan. The facility checked off every box of the kind of place I would like my mom to be at. Unfortunately, I could not afford it personally. However, even after realizing I could not afford to pay out of pocket, Susan was still amazing, answered all of our questions, did not rush us out of the meeting, etc. I was thoroughly impressed and if my situation changes I would place my mom there without a doubt.
Frequently Asked Questions About The Arbors Assisted Living Communities at Westbury
Is an assisted living community the same thing as a nursing home?
No. People who live in a nursing home typically require constant and continual medical care, often involving a registered nurse and other medical professionals. In an assisted living community, seniors may need help with some daily routines such as grooming and getting dressed, but they are not medically dependent. In fact, assisted living residents enjoy an active lifestyle that can be highly fulfilling and enriching. According to Definitive Healthcare, there are more than 33,000 active assisted living facilities across the United States.
What does all-inclusive mean?
We understand that navigating assisted living can be difficult, and the fees associated with it can be confusing because it usually depends on the amount of care or assistance your loved one needs. This is why we decided to simplify it for you and make all care included in our monthly rate. If your loved one’s needs increase, your rate will not increase because of additional care needs. This all-inclusive plan makes it easier to plan ahead and concentrate on enjoying your time together.
