The Arbors Assisted Living Communities at Westbury
I met with Brad from The Arbors at Westbury today. First, walking in i was greeted immediately by a staff member. I told her I have a appointment with Brad. She immediately contacted him and we were on our way. The Arbors at Westbury is very nice and clean. Brad took me around and showed me everything. All staff were pleasant and said hello. Brad explained all and took his time with the tour. I was very impressed with Brad his knowledge and kindness is second to none. In addition, I told Brad that I am touring many many assistant living facilities. The Arbors is definitely on top of my list after today. Thanks again Brad...hope to talk to you soon.

The Arbors at Westbury has been a wonderful experience for my Mom and our family, when we had to transfer her from another facility, due to its shutting down. The Arbors is well run with an exceptional, warm and caring staff. If you are in search of a homey and cozy environment where your loved one will be taken care of, check out the Arbors at Westbury, you won’t be sorry and you won’t have to worry!.

The Arbors at Westbury is such a wonderful place. I am talking from experiences since my Mom has been at two other assisted livings, and The Arbors is the BEST, with no comparison. From Meghan the director to the facilities staff, I have never seen so many caring and compassionate people. They care about their residents and give them the attention and love that a family member would give. I know my Mom is in great hands here and it’s an awesome feeling. I am beyond happy that my Mom is at The Arbors and I would recommend it for anyone looking for their loved one to reside.

I visited the facility and was met by Amy Cardito.
She was very welcoming. We were explained all about schedules, 8-10 Activities per day, the meal hours and
all of the included amenities.
The atmosphere was comfortable and homey.
Lots of folks socializing . We were shown a room which was on the large side and a very updated accessible bathroom.
Any elder would love the exercise, entertainment, and 24 hour Cafe for coffee and tea and fruit.
Social companionship is so important to our elderly population this the way of life at Arbors.
I will pick this place for my mom as soon as she is ready for assisted living.
Love the joy and nurture that’s apparent when someone loves their job …this is Amy.
Ms Fatima has held down front desk for 37 YEARS.
The care is so apparent when people love what they do.

Frequently Asked Questions About The Arbors Assisted Living Communities at Westbury
Is an assisted living community the same thing as a nursing home?
No. People who live in a nursing home typically require constant and continual medical care, often involving a registered nurse and other medical professionals. In an assisted living community, seniors may need help with some daily routines such as grooming and getting dressed, but they are not medically dependent. In fact, assisted living residents enjoy an active lifestyle that can be highly fulfilling and enriching. According to Definitive Healthcare, there are more than 33,000 active assisted living facilities across the United States.
What does all-inclusive mean?
We understand that navigating assisted living can be difficult, and the fees associated with it can be confusing because it usually depends on the amount of care or assistance your loved one needs. This is why we decided to simplify it for you and make all care included in our monthly rate. If your loved one’s needs increase, your rate will not increase because of additional care needs. This all-inclusive plan makes it easier to plan ahead and concentrate on enjoying your time together.
