Wanted to give Minozzi the business since my family used them in the past and they have been around for a long time. Called and spoke to some one there on a Saturday, gave them cemetery info, they were supposed to call me back on Monday.Never heard back from them. Maybe they feel they dont need to follow up becasue they are busy and have enough work, but they are dealing with people experiencing a loss, I shouldnt have to worry about following up with them esp in a moment like this. They should be a little more courteous and professional. Needless to say, I wont be giving Minozzi my business. Left a message for another company, got a response within minutes and they have been very on top of follow thru. PS: wanted to give zero stars, google wont let me

On February 16, 2022 after the passing of my mother on 2/13/22 I contacted Tom to receive an estimate on how much it would cost to add two names to my grandmother’s tombstone (My mother was going to buried as the final person on a three person grave lot. My aunt was buried previously in 2019 however, her name was never added). I was quoted 975 per name and dates. Due to the price i decided to move forward with adding my mother’s name with the understanding that my aunt name would be added at a later time. Please keep in mind that due to me wanting to add my aunt’s name at a later time Tom advised that I change the format of how my mother name is written to allow space for my aunt name in the future so the names can be engraved in death order( my grandma first, my aunt and my mother last) and also fit the shape of the stone. I stressed to Tom the importance of wanting this job done before Mother’s Day and although my contract stated a completion date of Mother’s Day Tom did inform me on March 21st, 2022 that it can take about 8 weeks. On May 3rd I was informed that the job was not going to be completed by Mother’s Day due to him not receiving a permit. After reaching out continuously (via email) and expressing my urgency I finally received a response from TOM on May 31st that he received the permit and he will work to get it done but he had to make sure to make his other deadlines for Memorial Day (how insensitive to the priority of the job I paid him for). Since May 31st, Tom did not respond to me again until June 10th stating he was home sick and could not respond to emails. Once again I asked about the status of the job. At this time Tom made me believe that the job is dependent on him physically being able to go and complete it himself given the job had not been done because he was sick. On June 16th, 2022 I received a notification from Tom that the job was completed. No picture was provided. Due to my work schedule and me being a new mom I was unable to go immediately to view the work but I did go on June 26th, 2022. On June 26th upon seeing the work I was immediately unsatisfied. Immediately from observing the stone you can see that there was not enough room to add my aunts name and my mother’s date was missing a period and was not aligned. I immediately emailed Tom to express my concern. On June 27th, I spoke with Tom by phone and he stated and admitted that his cousin is the one who did the work and he has not seen it in person. He said he would go and view the work and get back to me. Since June 27th, 2022 I reached out to Tom numerous times via email to receive no response and no resolution. This is no way to treat a grieving customer and this reflects terrible customer service. What a horrible job and way to do business.. due to Tom’s lack of follow up I will be following up with a civil suit immediately. Please see photo. The work Tom did is directly in the middle of the stone.
