With the old director Christina 5/5 stars it was great amazing and the staff naturally was kind to each other in a normal working way. But this director sucks now and management has started to fall apart badly. I’m disgusted by management I got them gifts and cards. They had the nerve to talk bad about my child and my wife behind my back. Wait they didn’t even wait until I was out of the room. The walls are thin so just wait until I get out of the building. I’ve tried my best to stay with this center since my child loves their friends and teachers but management has gotten so bad. They keep on putting the blame on certain teachers. I’ve seen Ms.Stephanie leave and now Ms.Zulay. They didn’t even really have my kids as their student but their energy was great. I’m happy Ms.Melissa came back. Management needs to treat her well. I’ve heard that Jamie yell at her so badly. I didn’t intervene because I was so tired from work had to bring my child home. To Jenn, Jamie, and Joan number one don’t talk about my wife or my parenting style for my children. Number two support my children’s teachers. Please do your jobs. Management really sucks. But there are some good teachers. I’m happy Ms.S is having a baby. She was sweet as well. This used to be such a great center fun and loving. Now I’m strongly looking for new schools for my kid.

We have been with this Bright Horizons since our first son was born, 8 years ago! Back then, I searched for a daycare that was open long hours ( prior to covid, we were dropping our kids off at 8am and picking up at 6:45), that was clean, not crowded, and also professional. This facility is all of those things and more. All three of our kids have gone to this location since infancy and two have graduated from the pre- k offered here. We have one last child here in preschool and I will actually be sad when it’s time for him to go. The people are like family- warm and inviting. They know every child’s name. The programs offered in each classroom are engaging and high quality. I adore the artwork and projects my kids brought home! The teachers are fantastic- so patient and so kind. There has been a bit of a turnover periodically as teachers pursue other paths, but this is common in most daycares as teachers work on various degrees, etc. Management always strives to seek out replacement teachers that are a good fit for each age group. The covid policies were/are strictly enforced and have kept our littlest one healthy and safe since going back this past September. There is really no other place I feel comfortable leaving my child while we work- I know he’s in great hands! There are many local daycares near me, but we have been driving out of the way for 8 years for this one. High quality care and terrific teachers/staff have kept us here!

Bright Horizons at WEP has provided everything my wife and I could think of in terms of high quality childcare for both our boys. Three years ago, when we were looking at different daycare options for our first son, we initially toured/spoke with the 2-3 daycare centers closest to home. Almost on a whim, we decided to travel a bit further away and go visit Bright Horizons. Upon leaving our tour and speaking with the Director, my wife and I just had these smiles on our faces, the ones you get from that feeling where you just know something is right. It felt good. Ever since we decided to enroll our first child with Bright Horizons, nothing has happened in the past 3 years to make us change those initial impressions. Bright Horizons does a lot of things in terms of childcare that I think any parent would hope to get out of a daycare. The teachers always have a smile on their faces, they foster a great social environment for the kids, the learning tools are outstanding (basic sign language for babies to learn to communicate, holding utensils, drawing, letters, numbers, etc), and they have a smartphone app which provides both real time updates (____ just had a turkey sandwich, cucumbers, and pretzels for lunch), daily summaries, and pictures throughout the day. It really allows us, as parents, to feel like we know what is going on in our kids lives even though we are no where near them. One last item that I think speaks very highly to Bright Horizons has to do with them as a company. Most daycares are simply single stand-alone facilities. And I would not think to equate childcare or school with a business. But Bright Horizons is a large, national company and one thing that I am really impressed by is the number of "work anniversaries" that are celebrated each month for the employees. Not, ______ has been here for two years! It's, let's congratulate ______ on her 9 years with Bright Horizons....or maybe it's 6 years....or I have even seen 15 years! I think it speaks volumes for how a company treats their employees to have ones that stay around for so long, especially in an industry that tends to have a higher burnout rate. It very much shows in how the employees and teacher take care of the kids that they themselves are taken care of by Bright Horizons. The trickle down effect is real and all the rewards go to the kids. To that extent, we have now enrolled our second child in Bright Horizons and he has the same two teachers in the infant classroom that our first son did three years ago. The familiarity is wonderful with the teachers knowing us and us knowing them. Again, those good feeling simply continue to permeate throughout all our interactions with Bright Horizons. One final point: daycare is not for everyone. Some families, especially when they get to having a second child, prefer to go the nanny route. I completely understand that. Even if that is your intention from the beginning with your first child, I would still recommend you just take 15-20 minutes to book an appointment to visit Bright Horizons at WEP. It is one of the best decisions we have made so far as a parents.
