- JWJeff WonserFeb 14, 20263.0The community is fantastic, the staff top notch, communication timely, views into the mountains beyond stunning, and we can find anything wrong with our new home! But, the lower stars are for Pulte's mortgage arm. DO NOT DEAL WITH PULTE MORTGAGE! They executed a perfect bait-and-switch on us, which before their "best and final offer" would've cost us about $17k extra. Their "settlement offer" knocked off about $8k of that, but it left a bad taste in our mouths. Our advise is to record your OWN phone calls, get the offers for financial incentives IN WRITING and make sure they're non-revocable, and don't breathe easy until you've got the keys in hand! And it was all done withing 3 business days of closing. And, guess what? Our mortgage broker wouldn't pick up the phone or answer an e-mail for 2 of those days! So, pay cash or bring your own financing. Do that and we'll see you at the Community Center!! It's a gorgeous community in a WONDERFUL location with jaw dropping views!
