I had a procedure done this morning. I was late to my appointment, when I walked in no one greeted me. Another lady brought her paperwork up to the counter and that is when the lady came out. She was very kind to this woman. This lady was Hispanic, curly hair, many ear piercings, glasses, and was about 4”11. I approached the lady, “Hi I’m checking in for Jessika.” She immediately replied with, “what time was your appointment.” A hello was never said she never made eye contact. I replied with, “7:40” she then said “did you call to tell us you were running late?” Which is a weird question to ask as a front desk woman, you know who’s calling and not. I understand being late sets everything back but it didn’t appear to be busy. She was hostile and only chose to be nice to the other woman and talked to her in a very different tone. After my procedure I woke up to her in the room, I asked if my boyfriend was outside waiting because if he wasn’t I was going to be upset which she replied with, “Are you a Karen?” This is such an unprofessional question and not comforting at all. I began to cry which she replied with, “why are you crying?” Which is also a weird question to ask considering the procedure I just went through while coming off anesthesia. I was never provided with tissues so I brought it upon myself to grab tissues while walking out and accidentally knocked something over which she said, “Oh you’re knocking things over.” Never once did I feel comforted or cared for she was unprofessional from the moment I walked in. This is a vulnerable situation and you expect to feel safe and cared for. My experience with her was horrible.

The place is very clean, the MA that did my IV was very informative and communicative. The only thing that made me feel uncomfortable was that the doctor was pressuring me into getting a surgical procedure instead of medical.

I brought my niece to this clinic and had a very disappointing and concerning experience. From the moment we arrived, the woman who assisted us initially had an awful attitude—rude, dismissive, and constantly cutting me off when I asked simple questions. For clarity, this was a short woman (approximately 4’11”), appearing to be in her mid-40s to mid-50s, with brown hair and bangs, glasses, and blue acrylic nails. She was the first staff member who attended us and later claimed to be a manager. My niece’s procedure cost $720, which we paid in cash. We were not given a receipt. While waiting in the lobby, I overheard another staff member tell a patient on the phone that the same procedure costs $720, but $650 if paid in cash due to a discount. I asked that staff member to confirm what I over heard. And she did. The same lady who assisted us the first time came to the door when my Niece was ready to be discharged. When I calmly asked about this, I was met with immediate defensiveness and hostility instead of a clear explanation. I explained that we also paid cash, yet no discount was offered. When I asked whether my niece had been given the difference back, the staff member became extremely defensive I asked “if she was okay?” and admitted she was “not okay,” which was very apparent in her behavior. She spoke over me, dismissed my concerns, and rushed us out rather than addressing the issue professionally. I later called the clinic to ask for her name, and she refused to provide it, only stating that she was a manager. If that is true, this behavior is even more concerning. The lack of transparency with cash payments, refusal to provide a receipt, inconsistent pricing, and unprofessional conduct raise serious red flags. Patients should always request a receipt when paying cash and question any so-called “random” discounts. Management should seriously review this situation. No one with this attitude should be working in customer service or patient care.

To those who need to get this emotional situation taken care of, this is the right place to go to. It’s a hard decision, but it’s okay, you’re not alone. The doctor reassured me, made me felt very comfortable. Explained everything to me before the procedure. I did opt for sedatives for this procedure to be very comfortable for me, and I was, I cant remember anything. I was super nervous at first, I never had a SA done. I was surprised how fast it was done. Few hours later, I have very small cramping and spotting as expected, but I’m in no pain at all. I hope I don’t need to go through this experience again, but if you need to go through this, this is a great place to go to.
