- VMV MiyaharaDec 21, 20255.0While visiting Las Vegas we looked up the nearest LDS church to attend. This one is quite close to the hotels. We walked in and immediately felt welcomed. Several people came up to us and said "hello and welcome". We noticed one man at the door. He would help people arriving late find a place to sit and would even ask seated people to move toward the middle so others could fit in the pew. It was the Sunday before Christmas so the message was all about Christ. The music was great. The young children sang, a few other duets and solos from adults. And a choir made up of members from Africa sang Joy to the World in French and Swahili. We felt the spirit of Christ here and loved the diversity of this congregation. Highly recommend attending when you're visiting Las Vegas.
