  I could honestly write volumes about what this temple means to me personally. The Farmington New Mexico Temple is both sacred and iconic for our small town. It stands as a symbol of the quiet, faithful goodness of thousands of saints who have honored the covenants they’ve made with Jesus Christ throughout their lives. This temple is a tribute to generations of faith—built through the tithes, offerings, and devotion of people who believe deeply in eternal families. It is a sacred space that connects living, mortal ordinances with souls who passed from this life without the opportunity to receive them. A holy place dedicated to sealing couples for eternity and blessing families and posterity through all time. Beyond its eternal significance, the temple is also a refuge from the world—a place to unplug, recalibrate, and realign spiritual focus. There is peace here that is difficult to put into words. I love this temple with all of my heart, and having the opportunity to photograph our very first wedding here was profoundly meaningful and humbling. It will forever hold a special place in my life.

  My family stopped in for a wonderful temple experience. My daughter did baptisms while my wife and I went through a session. My daughter reported as having met some very nice people in the temple and even made a connection between them, us, and a mutual acquaintance. Overall, my daughter had a very good experience. The endowment session was also quite good and the temple is very beautiful. My wife is set apart as a temple worker in a different temple so she did notice a few things that were different and maybe even a little off. There are specific things which are expected during prayer in the endowment and most of those things were not motioned at all, which we both thought was a little weird. Other than that minor exception the experience was overall very wonderful. Thank you for having us!

  We were passing through Farmington on a road trip and stayed overnight, which gave us the opportunity to stop by the Farmington New Mexico Temple before continuing on our drive. Some members of our home ward are from this area, and I remembered how excited they were when the temple was announced. Seeing it in person made that excitement easy to understand. The temple sits prominently on the site, with clean architectural lines, a striking spire, and well-kept grounds that frame the building nicely. Even from the outside, it feels peaceful and intentional. It was a brief stop, but a meaningful and worthwhile one.
