- NBNate BAug 26, 20215.0I love this church. I really appreciate the focus on our Savior, Jesus Christ. All of the sermons/classes/messages are very rich, thought provoking, and center on your personal relationship with Christ. The main thing that I dislike is that sometimes the music leaves a little bit to be desired, but I can't sing well so anything is better than what I can musically deliver. The members are generally very welcoming and willing to serve one another no questions asked. Another thing that I really appreciate is that there is no paid clergy. Everyone serves voluntarily and has their own livelihood much like the apostles of Jesus' day. Additionally, this church firmly believes in obtaining your own personal revelation or understanding of the gospel. Every member studies, ponders, and teaches the Word on their own volition. Instead of hearing from a designated pastor/priest every meeting, we instead hear from members of the congregation or even a visiting member on occasion. I am really impressed with the organization and inclusiveness of this church. Those who do not share our beliefs are always welcome to attend and opportunities may arise for them to share their perspective and thoughts on various topics. Ultimately, everyone is involved and I encourage you to come check it out for yourself. 😁
