- KLKelly lockwood2 days ago1.0If I could give zero stars I would. The people who are physically at the school with my kids are lovely. But aside from them I have nothing kind to say about this company. I wish we could go back to ymca aftercare.
- JDJames DobisDec 29, 20251.0I’m not happy with Champions as the vendor for Leonardo Grade School. Champions is an out-of-state vendor that costs families more than the previous vendor, the local YMCA, which offered digital check-in/check-out and maintained adequate staffing ratios for students. Champions does not staff appropriately, uses paper logs, and now pays the school district for limited exclusive playground time due to staffing shortages, something that was not an issue before. While Champions did retain some of the former YMCA staff, whom we like very much and appreciate, not all were kept. So where is the extra money we’re paying to Champions actually going? In response to your request that I call regarding my comments: you solicited me for public comment. Unless there’s something to hide, you should be able to address my concerns in this thread.
