  Let me just say, this funeral home is very lovely. Soft lighting, elegant décor, and the kind of calming music that makes you forget you why you are even there. The staff? Total professionals. The coffee? Surprisingly drinkable. Honestly, if my siblings weren’t crying about my mom, I might’ve actually enjoyed myself. But sadly there’s just this vibe, that constant reminder sense that life is fleeting and YOLO. You try to admire the floral arrangements, but it’s hard to ignore the whole... reason for being there. Anyway, beautiful setting, hopefully won’t have to return here anytime soon, four stars—lovely place, but next time I’d prefer less existential reflection with my coffee.

  Everything and everyone was just what my family needed for my father's funeral. Mike, Jeff, Brian, Paul & Hugh are each knowledgeable and professional individuals who each seem like they can't not want to help. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jeff - he was so patient and kind and was always available when helping us plan my father's service. And at the service everyone was just great. Paul & Hugh were there to help ease the burden by taking care of everyone there with a sense of empathy I found amazing. Solemn for those who needed it and light banter for those looking for that. Dotting the i's and crossing the t's to make sure a funeral runs smoothly is one thing (and thanks for that by the way) but doing it with such care, compassion and consideration is truly another. We are very thankful for them and highly recommend Hillsborough Funeral Home.

  The staff at Hillsborough Funeral Home are consummate professionals. From start to finish, their professional and dignified services for my Father were impeccable. All of the staff were easy to deal with and compassionate to my family and friends. Thank you so much for being not only a phenomenal Funeral Home, but a pillar of our community.

  When a member of my immediate family died recently, we turned to Hillsborough Funeral Home. Everyone has heard horror stories involving funeral homes, but we received only courteous, respectful professionalism from Jeff and his co-workers. Hillsborough Funeral Home had to coordinate with a funeral home and cemetery in another state; my family member had to be escorted to that other state to be buried, a 5+ hour drive away. There were a lot of details here, and it would have been easy to make mistakes. But there were none. Jeff and his colleagues were efficient, reliable, and kind, and it made a hard time just a little easier.
