- KSKim SturgeonOct 23, 20255.0I first learned of Home Instead when they cared for my grandma in 2019. She received great care from some great people that today I have the privilege of calling my friends. In 2020 I decided I wanted to be a caregiver and five years later here I am working with those great people. I even had the chance to care for a lady that cared for my grandma. Two years ago my mom had some health issues that wouldn't allow her to be in her home without 24/7 care, she chose Home Instead. Our family is forever grateful for the continued care she receives daily. Its not just about cooking, cleaning and laundry, it's the continued work with her after PT ended so she could go from walking a lap in the livingroom to now walking around the block. Involving her in daily tasks that she used to be able to do on her own and now she can only do with help. The companionship, car rides, puzzles, countless games of UNO and getting her to church on Sunday's, that mean so much to her. Without Home Instead, we don't know where we would be today, so Thank You!
