- RSRichard SmithDec 31, 20255.0My husband and i were looking at some community-living places in Holly Springs area. After seeing two or three others, we decided to make one more stop at The Aspens. What a blessing that we did! We immediately felt comfortable when we met Darcy, Ann, and Kim. The mood was light and welcoming. As soon as we saw the apartments we were sold, and that was reinforced when we walked through the lobby and met a table full of laughing, friendly residents, who we knew would be instant friends! As an animal love, it was great to see several dogs walking their owners, as well as some " cat lovers" pictures on residents' doors. Thank you to The Aspens for offering such an outstanding housing alternative, just a stone's throw away from a fantastic Walmart! (Mrs.) Stuart D. Smith In order to provide the safe, clean and friendly environment that it does, The Aspens has to have a conscientious, caring staff. That is exactly what you will find here. I believe by choosing this place as a home, my wife and I have avoided many of the negatives of home ownership as we age and kept the positives of a great group of residents. They have a beautiful clubhouse with lots of indoor activities for the residents. There's also an outdoor space with additional games, activities, and gathering places. Every resident that we encountered greeted us with a genuine smile. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, too.

We moved my grandmother into her apartment and immediately felt like she was moving into a community of family rather than ‘just an apartment’. The number of activities offered is extensive and appreciated since my grandmother is very outgoing and social. I truly feel that the staff go above and beyond for every resident and it gives such peace of mind knowing my grandmother is in such a loving and warm community of people. The Aspens does not participate in the Section 8 program.

The Aspens offers a meal plan with both a breakfast and dinner option or a dinner only option. Both are offered Monday – Friday and are provided by a local catering company, as there is not a restaurant on-site.
Is there transportation included at The Aspens?
The Aspens works with a variety of businesses that offer transportation. This includes companion care agencies, county van services, as well as Uber.
Does The Aspens have access to a walking trail?
The Aspens has a sidewalk that is around the perimeter of the building, the perimeter of the internal courtyard, plus the first floor is a full circle for walking during inclement weather. In addition, there are many parks within a few miles of the community that offer paved trails.
Does The Aspens have a pool?
Although The Aspens does not have a pool, the courtyard has a pickleball court, shuffleboard court, a turf area, a patio, and a gas grill. The local YMCA is only a few miles away and has an indoor pool.
Does The Aspens offer activities?
Yes, The Aspens has a variety of activities. They include, but are not limited to, fitness classes, art classes, films and movies, book clubs, support groups, games, luncheons, pickleball clinics, and much more. All the activities are included in the monthly rent.
Is The Aspens a buy-in community?
No, The Aspens is not a buy-in community. These are monthly rental apartments with standard 12-month leases. In addition, there is a one-time community fee.
If a resident of The Aspens needs additional care, can the lease be broken?
Yes. Should a resident need a higher level of care, the resident must provide a letter from the physician and a letter from the community indicating the resident's intent to move.
Are there additional expenses besides the monthly rent at The Aspens?
All the utilities, valet trash, bi-weekly housekeeping, maintenance, activities, and amenities are all included with the monthly rent. Cable, internet, and phone are at the resident’s expense.
