SearStone is a true community so full of energy and vitality, people want to eat here, play here, and yes, retire here. Residents have brought the whole community to life. For instance, the presence of an artificial lake might suggest opportunities for recreational engagement, yet fishing is prohibited—raising questions about how meaningful outdoor activities are facilitated for residents. In this context, amenities appear to be more decorative than functionally supportive of active aging.
