Located on 5,200 wooded acres with a private lake, we offer unforgettable experiences through traditional camps, specialty camps, leadership programs, and mini camps. Activities include archery, horseback riding, zip-lining, swimming, rock climbing, crafts, and more — all led by caring staff in a safe, inclusive environment. Whether it’s a camper’s first time away from home or their fifth summer with us, Camp Lakewood builds confidence, independence, and lifelong friendships through adventure and fun.

- EEEmreNov 9, 20251.0Lunch lady was mean. Stains on bed. Boat almost capsized. Poison ivy. Very filthy facilities include: bathroom, sleeping quarters, and cabin common area.

I got to go to Camp Lakewood three times, courtesy of my city school– twice in 1998 and once in 1999. Met some cool friends, ate s'mores for the first time ever, wrote letters back home to my family.. it was a wonderful experience full of amazing camp counselors and activities. I'm so happy to see Camp Lakewood still exists.🙌🏾
