We love Little Guppy! We couldn’t be more thrilled with the care she receives and the things she learns. Miss Kaylee has gotten her more than ready for kindergarten in the Fall!

We love Little Guppy. Both our boys have a wonderful time there. We have had issues at another daycare but have nothing but good things to say about Guppy. The teachers and managers are wonderful and the boys love the indoor playground for the cold and rainy days.

We love Little Guppy!! We had to pull our children from their previous daycare after a safety concern and toured Little Guppy the next day. During the tour we knew this is where we wanted our children! The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The director and assistant director are the absolute sweetest. The smaller class sizes are perfect for my children to have more personal time with their teachers. I honestly couldn’t have found a more perfect school for my children!

Just nope. Don't do it. My daughter was in the one year-old room for three months in 2016. When I toured the facility, I was drawn to the spacious rooms, the "fishbowl" activity center in the middle of the facility, and what seemed to be a genuine and caring site director. I adored my daughter's morning classroom "teacher," who did her best to advise the afternoon "closers" (which were two teen girls who could clearly give a hoot about the children in the room, their cleanliness, or well-being.) However, that one morning teacher was the only positive experience we had at Guppy. Several times, I had to discuss the unhygienic diaper changes that were taking place in the afternoon (my daughter was coming home unclean when she had been changed), I had to discuss the state of her clothing, etc., under the care of the afternoon "staff," (they would let my toddler COVER herself in mulch dust and dirt daily and say things like, "yeah, she likes to do that") with a teenage sort of shrug, and my daughter was bitten at least four times by another child and NOTHING was done to prevent recurrences. Due to the lacking cleanliness practices of the teen room "closers" responsible for the daily cleaning of toys, wipe-down, etc... my daughter had strep throat, several ear infections, and pneumonia all in a span of three months. I cannot speak for any other rooms at this facility, but the room my daughter was in was a nightmare. It's a shame the inept director was unable to improve operations at her facility in this area. I really wanted to like the place.

I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO WRITE A REVIEW FOR A LONG TIME, I'M SORRY I AM JUST NOW GETTING TO IT BECAUSE THIS FACILITY DESERVED THIS REVIEW FROM DAY ONE. AS A MOTHER WHO SUFFERED FROM SEVERE POST-PARTUM (did not take my baby out of the house for the first 4 months except for doctor appointments) THE THOUGHT OF MY SON GOING FROM BEING CARED FOR BY HIS GRANDMOTHER, TO GOING TO A DAYCARE WAS ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING. FOR ONE, THE LADIES IN THE INFANT ROOMS ARE SO GENTLE AND LOVING MY SON WENT RIGHT TO THEM THE FIRST DAY LOL. AND HE IS NOW A YEAR OLD AND THE LADIES IN THE 6-12 MONTH ROOM ARE AMAZING TOO. HE KICKS HIS FEET AND CLAPS HIS HANDS AS WE WALK UP TO THE DOOR AND HE REACHES OUT FOR MISS SARA OR MISS JESSICA AS SOON AS HE COMES IN. ITS JUST AMAZING. ON TOP OF ALL THAT, THE THINGS HE LEARNS THERE IS INCREDIBLE. I LOVE THAT THEY LET HIM BE A BOY AND GET MESSY THERE WHEN THEY EXPLORE WITH PAINT, ETC (lets face it, its not always fun to do that kind of stuff at home) THEY ARE ALSO VERY RESPECTFUL, THE LADIES SEEK TO LEARN WHAT EACH PARENT IS AND IS NOT COMFORTABLE WITH... AND SOMEHOW SEEM TO REMEMBER IT ALL. I NEVER EVER EVER HAVE TO WORRY THAT THEY WILL DO SOMETHING WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. TO ME, THAT IS SO IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE YOU FIND PEOPLE THAT RESPECT YOUR PARENTING... AND THEY DEFINITELY DO HERE. YOU CAN TELL THAT THEY DEAL WITH ALL SORTS OF DIFFERENT PARENTING STYLES, AND THEY DO IT FLAWLESSLY. $$ ALSO, THEY ARE NOT THAT EXPENSIVE! OBVIOUSLY ALL DAYCARE PRICES IN GENERAL ARE OUT OF CONTROL FOR THE AVERAGE MIDDLE CLASS FAMILY BECAUSE IT COSTS A FORTUNE TO RUN A DAYCARE (but when it comes down to it, I would pay the staff at Little Guppy DOUBLE if I could afford it- they deserve it) .... BUT ANYWAY THEY WERE THE 3RD CHEAPEST DAYCARE IN MY AREA. WELL TECHNICALLY THE 2ND CHEAPEST BECAUSE "BRIGHT START" CANT EVEN BE COUNTED SINCE THEY ARE HORRIBLE- NO WONDER THEY WERE THE CHEAPEST. AND LITTLE GUPPY IS ONLY $30 MORE A WEEK THAN WHAT BRIGHT START WAS GOING TO CHARGE ME. I AM A SINGLE MOM AND DO NOT MAKE THAT MUCH MONEY. AND THE THINGS HE HAS LEARNED THERE... I COULD JUST GO ON FOR DAYS... BUT MY MAIN PURPOSE WAS TO WRITE THIS REVIEW FOR A MOM WHO MAY BE GOING THROUGH WHAT I WAS GOING THROUGH, AND JUST NEEDS AN HONEST OPINION. THE ONLY CONS OF DAYCARES ARE THE COLDS THAT GET PASSED AROUND BUT IT DOES BUILD A KIDS IMMUNE SYSTEM... JUST NOT FUN WHEN YOU AS THE PARENT HAVE TO CATCH IT TOO LOL :)
