Absolutely disgusting place, I came in as agency and was completely blind sighted . Im a RN and take pride in my work but this place ABSOLUTELY takes the cake. I arrived at the facility for the first time and asked the cna working the floor how I would figure out where I needed to go she then told me go over there and read the clipboard it will have your assignment... ok new person in the building great customer service..I finally find my hall and which I discover later there are 3 residents with covid im in a unit by myself with 3 other cnas all agency and not familiar with the building im to pass all meds do all treatments and charting and ensure all residents stay in their room (facility said they all had to quarantine) i express to the unit manager this is alot she doesn't offer to help she tells me she has a class to teach while family members are there upset because meds are late and not out of bed yet..come 2pm the tablet they gave me is dead and mind you they never gave me my own login access they were (busy). By 3pm I hadn't even finished passing 10am meds !!! This place is disgusting and management is horrendous..they should be ashamed of themselves i feel horrible for the residents and their families 1 nurse cannot properly care for 27 rooms with 2 residents in each and when asking for help you are ignored...the DON sat in her office and ignored me when asking for assistance with finding a charger to finish passing the meds ...Absolutely sickening..if you value your license dont go here..oh and because I didn't get their unrealistic expectations completed they dnrd me from the facility...longterm care facilities like this should be shut down and management should be held accountable...I've been a DON and I always helped my staff we are a team and the residents are the reason we have a job

I have a family member here and not sure this is the right place . Takes a very long time for someone to answer when she presses call button for help . I am not impressed with the care.

This place was terrible; I don't even recommend one star. My dad was placed in the Rehabilitation and then moved Long Term Care and the care was appalling. Records were falsified, they did not feed him, ignored the feeding tube instructions, left him for hours in his own urine, forgot to take him off the toilet, fell out of bed twice, but refused to take further precautions as a fall risk. Medications were not returned and after a month we still have not received our deposit. I know the inevitable was going to happen, but I do think the lack of care and attention there did speed up his passing. I was told numerous times "they had other things to do" or "I'm a contract employee, not a real employee, so their rules don't apply to me." while they were playing on their phone while my dad's call light was on for over an hour. Brooking Park: Unfortunately, my mom has been contacting Fred for the last two weeks; the only thing that he has done is forwarded my mom's calls to another department. It's been two months and they still owe us 10,000. No one has addressed any issues or concerns that we have.

My wife just completed a 19 day rehab program for a fractured knee cap at Brooking Park. We could not have asked for a better, more supportive experience. From the day she went into BP until the day she left, the staff provided excellent care. Everyone, from the Executive Director through the management team and on down, was positive, upbeat, and always available to discuss any questions or plans for my wife’s treatment. The physical, occupational, and speech therapists had thorough, well defined plans that produced very good results for my wife. The facility itself is modern and up-to-date in terms of appearance and decor. It is also kept spotlessly clean. The amenities that are offered to patients are numerous and well organized. Based on our experience, if the need again arises for us we would certainly choose BP.
