The team at Evans Nordby Osseo are amazing! They assisted us with my father's arrangements 15 years ago and most recently my Mother's. Their kindness and support throughout the whole process made all the decision making go very smoothly. I felt that they served our family with the utmost respect and care. They were easy to reach when we had questions at any time, even after everything was complete. Our family would highly recommend Evans Nordby Osseo for any funeral planning and arrangement needs.

I can't praise this funeral home enough. From the beginning I was treated like a personal friend, or a family member. They went out of their way to make sure everything was going according to plan, from beginning to end. It was comforting to know they were on top of everything; all who attended were very complementary of how smoothly it went. It was a bitter cold day, and most in attendance were elderly folks. They had chairs set up in the church hall so they could sit comfortably before the Mass, & afterwards for the military service. They took care of the smallest details, which involved burial in another state. They are truly caring and made a difficult day for me and my family memorable in a positive way. I will always be grateful to them.

When my mom passed, I was in another state and had to immediately fly to Minnesota. In a matter of days, I was trying to manage her home, meet with an attorney and real estate agent, and plan a funeral before returning to my own family. It was overwhelming.
Evans Nordby made the process remarkably smooth. In a single comfortable meeting, we were able to plan the entire funeral and preparation with confidence and clarity. They handled the coordination with the church and cemetery so everything came together seamlessly.
When the day arrived, we didn’t have to worry about logistics — we were able to simply be present and honor my mom. I’m truly grateful for their professionalism, organization, and compassion during such a difficult time.

Unfortunately our Mother recently passed away, but with proper planning, she had pre-paid creamation and funeral services with Evans-Nordby Funeral Home in Osseo.
Our family met with Brittney, with her experience and contacts at the Church, she was able to take care of all the funeral arrangements and make sure everything happened on-time so we could focus on our Family and Friends. I highly recommended working with Brittney and Evans-Nordby for all your families funeral needs!

Our experience with Evans Nordby was amazing!
Our Mom’s funeral was absolutely beautiful!
The Visitation area was set up for maximum space use - flowers were beautufully arranged around her Urn!
This was the culmination of all the decisions made many years ago - with our Mom! She was the decision maker and everything was exactly as she planned and wanted!
All of the people that worked with our Family could not have been kinder, more gracious or more supportive to our entire Family- from the Visitation through the Funeral Mass!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!

How Much Does a Funeral Cost?
The cost of a funeral varies depending on the services selected. If you would like a personalized estimate, please contact us to set up an appointment or discuss your options over the phone.
How Do I Compare Funeral Home Prices?
Make sure to take all goods and services into account when comparing prices with other funeral homes. Ask thorough questions to evaluate the quality of services being offered.
Keep in mind that our costs are mostly determined by the time we spend on each funeral and the use of our facilities, but many other factors also affect our prices. These include salaries, taxes, inventory, supplies, meetings, paperwork, continuing education, and more. The quality and workmanship of caskets, burial vault materials, and other merchandise also affect costs.

Cemeteries usually require vaults, but not always. We can contact your preferred cemetery to inquire about their policies.
Is Embalming Required?
Except in certain cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements. The most common reason for embalming is public viewing. If the body will be transported by public transportation
